MINNIE AND TED’S – INTERIOR DESIGN TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About Us
Minnie and Ted’s is an interior design and home styling service operated by Chelsea Postma Tonge, based in Bramhall, Stockport, United Kingdom.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Minnie and Ted’s provides interior design, styling, sourcing, and installation services.
2.2 Services may include consultations, mood boards, sourcing of furniture and accessories, project coordination, delivery, and installation/dressing.

3. Consultation Services & Fees

3.1 Consultation fees are strictly non-refundable.

3.2 The following consultation options are available:

• £299 Consultation
  Includes a visit to the property and verbal advice, ideas, and/or a mood board for rooms discussed.
• £499 Consultation (4+ Rooms)
  Covers more than four rooms and may be used flexibly across different stages of the project.

3.3 Consultations provide guidance and direction but do not include unlimited ongoing design work unless otherwise agreed.

4. Design Process & Communication

4.1 Following consultation, clients may choose:

• Informal Design Route: Communication via WhatsApp with ideas, suggestions, and product links
• Formal Design Route: Structured mood boards and curated schemes

4.2 Minnie and Ted’s will provide a reasonable number of revisions and alternative suggestions. However:

• The design process is not unlimited
• Repeated changes or excessive back-and-forth may incur additional charges

4.3 Where a project extends beyond a reasonable scope, additional design time will be quoted and agreed.

5. Orders, Payments & Sourcing

5.1 All items must be paid for in full prior to ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2 Minnie and Ted’s acts as a sourcing agent and is not responsible for supplier delays, discontinued items, or manufacturing issues.
5.3 Prices are subject to change until payment is received.

6. Storage

6.1 Complimentary storage is offered at our warehouse until all items are ready for delivery or installation.
6.2 Items will be held until the client confirms readiness for delivery.

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery charges are calculated based on the size and scale of the order.
7.2 Delivery costs will be agreed in advance.
7.3 Clients must ensure suitable access to the property.

8. Installation & Dressing

8.1 Installation and dressing services are quoted based on project requirements.
8.2 Installation days are charged on a day rate basis, depending on the number of staff required.
8.3 The agreed day rate applies regardless of the duration of the installation on the day.
8.4 Packaging and rubbish can be removed from the property on installation day if requested.

9. Returns, Refunds & Damages

9.1 All items are non-refundable unless faulty.
9.2 Items cannot be returned due to change of mind or personal preference.

9.3 Any damages or faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

9.4 Where possible, original packaging must be retained.

9.5 Minnie and Ted’s will liaise with suppliers regarding faulty items; however, resolution times are dependent on the supplier.

9.6 Where suppliers apply restocking, handling, or return fees (even in the case of faults or exchanges), these costs may be passed on to the client.

10. Project Pause Clause

10.1 If a client pauses, delays, or becomes unresponsive during a project, Minnie and Ted’s reserves the right to:

• Pause all ongoing work
• Reallocate time and resources to other projects

10.2 If a project remains inactive for 30 days or more, it may be considered paused.

10.3 Resuming a paused project may:

• Be subject to revised timelines
• Require additional design fees depending on the scope of re-engagement

11. Client Responsibilities

11.1 Clients are responsible for:

• Approving all items prior to purchase
• Ensuring measurements, access, and suitability
• Being available (or having a representative present) on delivery/installation days

11.2 Minnie and Ted’s is not responsible for items that do not fit or are unsuitable due to incorrect information provided.

12. Cancellations

12.1 Consultations are non-refundable once booked.
12.2 Orders cannot be cancelled once items have been purchased or commissioned.
12.3 Installation bookings may incur costs if cancelled or rescheduled at short notice.

13. Liability

13.1 Minnie and Ted’s is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
13.2 Liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
13.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers.

14. Intellectual Property

14.1 All design work remains the property of Minnie and Ted’s until full payment is received.
14.2 Designs may not be copied or shared without permission.

15. Marketing

15.1 Minnie and Ted’s reserves the right to photograph and share completed projects for marketing purposes unless agreed otherwise.

16. Governing Law

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.2 Any disputes will be handled within this jurisdiction.

17. Acceptance

By proceeding with a consultation, design service, or purchase, you confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
